Here's an attempt I made at making a wolf's head with just the ellipse tool on Illustrator CS6. Having a hard time with these ears, though... T w T It's hard to get away from the bear look.
Wanted to fix a typo with my last post. Didn't realize the post would still show up as "removed".
I really like the snout. It has a good effect to it, with the fade-away white.
If you see the dot and the top black section of the head as two different entities, it makes the drawing look very different. Seeing it that way makes the wolf instead look like a Ghibli ghost-like character floating on a ball.
