Value Refinment & Color Keys

Refined the values a bit more, with changes in shapes and brushes as well.

Sad, but intrigued.

Partially afraid, partially confident.

Comforted, but tempted.

Despairing yet hoping.

Cornered.

Nathaniel Hawthorne concept

Concept painting for "Young Goodman Brown." This is not a pencil sketch, I know, but I felt like I could play around with moving around shapes better on Photoshop.

Paranoid.

The feeling you get when you're paranoid about a certain something.

Lizard Man Pattern

A pattern I made based off of M.C. Escher's pattern work.

Project 1 - Silhouette Project Final Draft

Very much like Draft 1, but with minor changes to some of the line lengths behind the icons on the silhouette, as well as size changes.

Brainstorming Project 2 "Connecting" Idea

Bathroom men and women standing with chains connecting their chests/hearts. There would be a gray background, and the figures would be filled in black with no stroke. The hearts would be filled white with no stroke as well. The composition would consist of a pattern of bathroom men and women in repeating columns and rows.

Abstract Self-Portrait

Inspiring by Wasilly Kandinsky's abstract work, I played around with Illustrator to make something that describes a sentimental part of who I am.

Attempted Big Bad Wolf head?

Here's an attempt I made at making a wolf's head with just the ellipse tool on Illustrator CS6. Having a hard time with these ears, though... T w T It's hard to get away from the bear look.

Icon Ideas

Just some brainstorming for a self-portrait project, which will be a silhouette profile of my head! These are ideas for what I want to draw inside. Totally open for change later, though! Feel free to suggest me any ideas if you think of other ways I can represent the same ideas! :)

Some of my latest digital work

Here's six digital illustrations I've done over the past year on Photoshop CS5. So far, these are the ones I'm most proud of, though I still have a lot to improve on.
